AI supports thought organization and document creation: The "time" and "quality" that IU Consulting Group gained through corporate reskilling
IU Consulting Group
Issues before implementation
- A lot of time was spent on peripheral tasks (preparing documents, gathering information, etc.) other than professional judgment and proposals.
- Because our members have such high levels of expertise, it was difficult to distinguish between tasks that should be done by people and tasks that could be made more efficient.
- It was essential to improve the productivity of the entire business process in order to allocate time to higher value-added tasks.
Effects after implementation
- Through reskilling, the perspective of "which tasks should be delegated to AI and where people should spend their time" was shared across the company
- Reduces work time and improves output quality for tasks such as drafting documents, gathering information, and organizing thoughts.
- Fostering an organizational culture where people on the front lines can come up with positive ideas, such as "Could this work be made more efficient with AI?"

Company Introduction
The IU Consulting Group is a consulting group based on the IU Consulting Tax Accountants Corporation, which provides a variety of services to small and medium-sized enterprises and high-net-worth individuals at 15 locations both domestically and internationally.
In recent years, with the group vision of "Bringing prosperity to Japan's future," the company has expanded into external CFO services, incubation businesses for venture companies, fundraising and IPO support, and overseas relocation support.
Issues before introducing generative AI
In the tax and accounting fields, in addition to making professional judgments and making proposals, a lot of time tends to be spent on peripheral tasks such as preparing documents, gathering information, and coordinating with both internal and external parties.
At IU Consulting Group, each member has a high level of expertise, so it was an issue to determine how to separate "tasks that should be done by people" from "tasks that can be made more efficient." In order to allocate more time to tasks with higher added value, it was essential to review the entire work process and take steps to increase productivity.
Effects after generative AI introduction training
To address these challenges, we first introduced Digirise's "Corporate Reskilling🄬," an AI reskilling training program that combines basic video learning with workshops. It is a practical program that goes beyond simply acquiring knowledge and encourages employees to consider how to apply it to their own company's operations.
The training was primarily attended by management, back office managers, and members with overall business operations. They deepened their understanding of generative AI and, by identifying daily operations, organized the "business areas where generative AI would be most effective."
Through reskilling, the company has come to share the perspective of "which tasks should be entrusted to AI and where people should spend their time." As a result, generative AI is increasingly being used in tasks such as drafting documents, gathering information, and organizing thoughts, resulting in not only a reduction in work time but also improvements in output quality and reproducibility of tasks. Furthermore, there is a growing trend to share prompts and usage know-how after training, and what individuals learn is being accumulated as knowledge for the entire organization.
Future outlook
With the introduction of reskilling, more and more employees are using generative AI and various AI tools within the company, and now, not only executives and managers, but also people at the field level are coming up with positive ideas such as, "Maybe we can make this work more efficient using AI," or "If we do it this way, we can free up more time."
Mastering AI is not the goal in itself, but rather a means to improve the quality of decisions and proposals that humans should be responsible for. The fact that this way of thinking is beginning to take root within the company is a major success story of the introduction of reskilling. Going forward, we will further deepen this culture and aim to provide even greater value across the entire group.
