Dots Inc. is based in Osaka Prefecture and operates as an "external human resources department" that provides comprehensive support services for the human resources issues of small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies.
For companies that "don't have a human resources department" or "cannot allocate resources to human resources," we propose flexible and practical organizational reforms according to the growth phase, such as optimizing recruitment strategies, systematizing training systems, and building evaluation systems that encourage retention and salary increases. From recruitment to system design, we support companies in strengthening their organizational capabilities through personnel reforms that incorporate a management perspective.
The company is also proactive in utilizing generative AI in its work, and has created a system and culture in which all employees utilize generative AI, achieving both improved efficiency and quality in its work.

A sense of challenge
Although there was awareness that generative AI should be utilized in business, a major challenge before implementation was not knowing where to start.
While the existence of ChatGPT and examples of its use were being talked about within the company, no one knew how or what steps to take to actually implement the tool into their work, and they were only "aware" of the potential of generative AI.
Furthermore, the indirect work, especially within the HR support work, required a lot of man-hours, and a lot of time was spent on creating job postings and employee interview manuscripts, collecting case studies for system design, and drafting documents.

Benefits of using generative AI
By taking Digirise's training, we were able to concretely understand how to put generative AI into practical use through workshops, which led to rapid progress in its use within the company.
In particular, by incorporating generative AI into the creation of job postings and interview articles, the time-consuming writing tasks that were previously required have been significantly reduced.
Furthermore, by utilizing generative AI to collect case studies and create drafts necessary for system design, it is possible to achieve both accuracy and speed.
In addition, by setting up a system whereby members could share their findings and usage every week for a certain period of time, use of the system became established throughout the company.
As a result, the time spent on indirect tasks has been reduced to about one-third of what it was before the implementation, creating an environment where employees can focus more on their core tasks.
Future outlook
Generative AI has already become deeply entrenched in indirect operations within companies, and going forward, it will move beyond simply improving efficiency to creating new value.
Specifically, the company plans to incorporate generative AI into its services and support content, with the aim of providing client companies with support with even higher added value.
For example, by introducing generative AI into some of our new HR support services, we aim to increase the speed and accuracy of our services, enabling us to provide support that directly leads to improved results for our client companies. Furthermore, we also see the establishment of a new revenue structure and improvement of profit margins as important themes that go beyond improved operational efficiency. Based on the knowledge we have cultivated in-house about using generative AI, we plan to take an aggressive stance in the future as we take on the challenge of expanding our business and innovating our services.
