@Aroma Co., Ltd.
Issues before implementation
- Content creation by multiple people made it difficult to maintain a consistent brand tone
- Creating product planning materials and coming up with catchphrases took 20 to 30 hours per project.

Company Introduction
@aroma Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in fragrances, providing scenting designs using natural fragrances. Under the motto of "enriching your life with fragrance," the company offers a wide range of services, from branding support for commercial facilities such as offices and hotels to selling aroma products in directly managed stores and on e-commerce sites.
Our production capabilities, which utilize the functionality and design unique to natural aromas, are highly regarded in a variety of settings, from large-scale facilities to everyday personal use.
Issues before introducing generative AI
With each department required to produce a variety of outputs, including public relations, e-commerce, product planning, and store operations, the multi-layering of operations became an issue.
In particular, when it came to creating content such as articles, we struggled to maintain consistency by unifying the brand's nuances, tone, and manner, as multiple people were working on the project.
In addition, in the product planning department, it sometimes took 20 to 30 hours per project to complete marketing-related tasks such as developing ideas into plans and turning them into materials and catchphrases. Furthermore, when responding to inquiries, it sometimes took about 30 minutes to verbalize the content, apart from understanding it.
Effects after generative AI introduction training
Through practical training involving multiple departments, employees have acquired the skills to use AI to create ideas and as a sounding board, which has resulted in significant practical results.
By creating a workflow that automatically generates first drafts based on the brand tone learned by AI, not only was the creation time dramatically reduced, but so was the time spent proofreading and checking within the company. It also improved the efficiency of administrative work, shortening the time it took to draft email replies to inquiries from 30 minutes to just five minutes, and improving the speed of everyday tasks. This allowed the time saved to be used for creative work that required specialized expertise.
Furthermore, during the training, members shared the GPTs they had created with each other and engaged in repeated discussions about what tasks they were suitable for and whether they could be used by other teams. This has resulted in knowledge of AI utilization becoming an asset for the entire team, rather than being biased towards individuals.
Future outlook
Going forward, the members of the marketing and product planning departments who participated in this training will act as "hubs" and plan to spread this successful experience and skills to other departments, such as the sales department.
The ideal situation would be for each employee to use AI in a way that suits their respective team's work.
Even in the midst of our busy daily work, we view AI as a partner that reduces workload and improves quality, further accelerating the sharing of knowledge across departments.
As a company specializing in fragrance, we aim to provide a higher quality customer experience by incorporating technology into our work while valuing sensitivity.
