    For Noble Home Co., Ltd., a leading company in the housing market of northern Kanto, digital transformation was an unavoidable theme. However, when it came to using AI, a serious "internal disparity" had emerged, with some highly perceptive employees learning and using it on their own, while many other employees had never even touched it.

    Because there were no formal implementation guidelines from the company, it was only being used individually as so-called "shadow AI," and there were challenges in terms of organizational knowledge sharing and security management. At the operational level, a lot of time was being spent on tasks such as extracting and transcribing data from the system and doing fragmented research on the internet, and there was a need for a "common platform" to improve the overall speed of the organization.

    Effects after generative AI introduction training

    The introduction of training and the approval of "Copilot" within the company's standard Microsoft 365 environment brought about dramatic changes within the organization. The convenience of being integrated into the OS and being able to call it up instantly from familiar tools removed the psychological and technical hurdles to starting to use AI for those who had not previously had any exposure to it.

    In practical work, learning how to assign a "role" (as a professional in a particular area) to prompts has dramatically improved the accuracy of the answers. For example, when creating Excel functions or modifying macros, I used to struggle to find information online and apply it to my own format, but now I can get an instant solution just by telling the AI the conditions.

    It has proven particularly effective in integrating complex data. When gathering information from different databases, the AI uses its high reasoning capabilities to correct and aggregate inconsistencies in terminology (such as slight differences in names) that humans previously had to check manually. Employees who previously used AI "zero times a week" now use it "every day," demonstrating that AI has become an integral part of our work.

    Future outlook

    Going forward, we aim to further enhance added value by having AI learn from the vast amount of "information assets" accumulated within the company (utilizing RAG). Specifically, we will integrate the know-how of competitive strategies and land information held by veteran sales staff into the AI. We will create an environment where even newly hired employees can instantly retrieve optimal sales pitches and points of differentiation through AI, thereby raising the overall level of the organization.

    The true purpose of these initiatives is not simply to "save time." By replacing administrative tasks with AI, we aim to invest the time freed up into "time spent interacting with customers," which is the essence of our housing services, and maximize the value we provide.
