Airz Inc. is a company that provides hybrid event streaming services to small and medium-sized enterprises and various organizations. Specifically, they set up filming and streaming equipment at the venue and have a system in place to deliver video and audio not only to on-site participants but also to online viewers. They support a wide range of streaming events, including corporate seminars and financial results briefings, as well as academic conferences and symposiums held by various organizations.
A sense of challenge
With many sales opportunities handled in parallel with distribution work, the task of creating quotes was a major bottleneck in sales activities. Creating a quote in particular often took 30 minutes to an hour per quote, significantly straining the sales representative's time. Another issue was that quote formats differed for each sales representative, resulting in variations in visibility and quality. As a result, checking the content was time-consuming, leading to increased man-hours for the entire team.

To solve this issue, we introduced and utilized generative AI to improve the quotation creation process, creating a system that supports quotation creation based on the content of sales negotiations while minimizing process changes at the sales frontline. This significantly reduced the time it took to create a quotation, which previously took 30 minutes to an hour, to an average of about 15 minutes, saving approximately 50 hours of work for the entire team that handles 100 quotations per month. We were also able to standardize the quotation formats that differed among sales representatives, and standardizing the order of items and notation improved visibility and greatly simplified the checking process. This initiative functions as a "bottom-up DX" that is close to the field, streamlining only bottlenecks while maintaining the existing workflow.
Future outlook
Our company's vision is to set new standards in the distribution industry. To achieve this, we will continue to actively utilize AI and DX, not only to reduce internal costs but also to increase the value we provide to clients. For example, we believe that in the future we may be able to use AI in processes such as the automatic generation of proposal materials and prioritizing customer support.
