A complete record of the "AI Brain" book launch event: The reality of supporting 500 companies and the commonalities of "people who can take action" in the AI era.

On April 4, 2026, in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, despite the rain, the event saw a participation rate exceeding 110%, with some attendees joining without prior registration. Over 100 people gathered, connecting with satellite venues across the country and online.
My new book"AI Brain: A Thinking Revolution That Creates Unlimited Free Time"This is a book launch event by KADOKAWA.
Juggling running a company, working as an influencer, and writing on top of that was honestly quite challenging. But I'm so glad that I was able to reach so many people. Once again, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Kiuchi and Mr. Ozaken for putting this event together, and to everyone who came from all over the country.
The speakers were myself, Shota Kiuchi (CEO of SHIFT AI), and Ozaken (MC). We talked in detail about the behind-the-scenes aspects of books that you can't see just by "reading" them, and the realities of the field. In this article, I will provide as much detail as possible about what was discussed at the event.
The "AI revolution" in social media and the reality of being "seven steps behind" in the field.

"AI will dramatically improve work efficiency!" "Not being able to use AI means losing your job!" -- Social media is overflowing with such comments."AI Brain"As I warned in the prologue,
However, more than 500 companies have adopted AI.Intensively over a six-month periodThe situations I've seen firsthand while providing support are completely different.
"The cutting-edge stories and real-world situations that are broadcast on X are,I'm about 7 laps behind."Honestly, I've never seen a company using Claude on set."
Why is there such a large gap? The reason is clear.
- The main users posting on X are freelancers and sole proprietors. It's rare for employees of large corporations to post on social media, and the information that does appear is limited to a select few at the top.
- At the operational level, the "one-hour reduction per day" in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot usage is finally starting to take hold. Our support also has stages: Level 1 (utilizing general-purpose AI) → Level 2 (building chatbots) → Level 3 and beyond (workflow automation), but many companies are still at Levels 1-2.
- Globally, ChatGPT users account for approximately 0.31 TP3T of the population. The layer using coding agents is 0.06%. This data comes from OpenAI.
- Even when we conducted a survey at the venue, only a handful of people answered that they "use Copilot at their company."Even among them, there are still many who find "Copilot a little difficult."
Mr. Kiuchi also stated this emphatically.
"It seems normal when you're in a community like this,This is really just between us."If you look at all working people in Japan, there aren't even 11,000 to 3,000 agents."
Conversely,If you start now, you can get into the top 11 TP3T.This is the reality as of April 2026.
The reality of supporting 500 companies: Digirise's collaborative approach

Our AI implementation support is not a one-off training session.half a yearWe assign a dedicated consultant to provide thorough support throughout the entire process.
- 10-hour video course materials
- Four training sessions/meetings per month
- Business process interviews → Prioritization using importance x urgency matrix → Problem solving in order from top to bottom
"I actually go out to the field quite a bit. Lately, I've been getting more requests where people say, 'I'll leave everything to you.'"
In just 2 years and 8 months since its founding, the company has served over 500 clients. Initially, many projects involved RAG (Search Engine Aggregation Generator), but recently, demand for that has been decreasing. Instead, what is rapidly increasing is...Solving challenges across the entire business.andDevelopment projects using Claude Codeis.
The range of services offered has also expanded remarkably.
- A soil survey company in Kamakura3 billion scaleProject support
- M&A Matching SiteConstruction
- Core system modification
With the advent of Claude Code, it's now possible to "figure out almost anything, even in unfamiliar fields, by listening to a lot of instructions." This is a huge change.
The decisive difference between companies that achieve results and those that don't.

Having observed 500 companies, I can confidently say that what successful companies have in common is a simple approach.3 elementsis.
- 1. Distribute paid tools to everyone in a top-down manner. — First of all, nothing can begin without an account.
- 2. Provide proper training. -- Not a one-off session, but a collaborative approach. It takes six months to establish the changes.
- 3. Reflect results in the evaluation system. ── So many companies forget this.
The most successful example is the GMO Group. CEO Masatoshi Kumagai implemented a top-down AI training program for 6,000 people. Here are the results:
- AI utilization rate:9% → 94%
- Time saved per person:38.4 hours per month(Approximately 2 hours per business day)
- this isA level anyone can aim for
The third point, the "evaluation system," is truly important.
"Some employees don't say 'I finished early' because even if they finish their work early, they're given more and more work and their salary doesn't change."I hope that the evaluation system will reflect the effort that went into the employee's performance."
Listed companies can include their AI implementation achievements in their investor relations materials, which positively impacts their stock prices. However, private companies don't promote their results. Change is steadily happening behind the scenes.
How to use Claude Code effectively: "No one needs to touch it."

We're getting an insane amount of inquiries about the Claude Code training. Several more companies will be starting support programs from April. However, here's my conclusion.
"No one needs to touch Claude Code."
Explain the reason.
Sales work involves many tasks, such as preparation, meeting minutes, negotiations, and thank-you emails. First, each person should streamline their individual tasks using Copilot or workflow tools. The role of Claude Code is to automate processes across the entire organization. Therefore, it should be implemented through a top-down approach, involving a review of business processes.
On the other hand, Mr. Kiuchi pointed out a different perspective.
"Managers and executives above the department head level must start using it. We're entering an era where you can't do business without using agent development."Conversely, if the CEO were to automate the company's operations using an agent, the question would arise: "Then why do we even need employees?""
The key point isWho and at what level of detail"The key lies in the design of how it will be used. And this is precisely where a huge opportunity lies for an AI consultant."
- There are still no examples of organizations adopting Claude Code.Almost nonexistent(Completely unexplored)
- If you can bridge the 3-month gap, you can become an expert in agent development.A project worth 500,000 yen per monthcan
- We also have many projects, and we're taking on projects at freelance rates. They are working incredibly hard on recruitment.situation
- Surprisingly,There is a strong demand for people with expertise in Copilot. The main operating systems for corporate environments are Gemini or Copilot.
Four common characteristics of "people who can take action" as seen from coaching 30,000 people.

From here on"AI Brain"But this is a topic we've delved into in depth. Based on my experience coaching over 30,000 people, there are four common characteristics among those who can effectively utilize AI.
1. Never give up your intellectual curiosity.
"I prefer working with AI to sleeping. I have so many things I want to do that I don't want to sleep. I wish there was a drug that would keep me awake."
Every weekend, I choose a theme and do a "free research project." During the week, I focus on my work, and on weekends, I delve deeply into new technologies. Let me give you an idea of the range of things I actually do.
- Complete automation of operations:The moment you input the meeting transcript into Claude, meeting minutes, Salesforce entry notes, email drafts, and proposals are automatically generated.
- Internal efficiency improvements:Integrate Slack with various tools to automatically notify you of recruitment progress and sales progress.
- Automated trading research:Using TradingView's MCP, I'm running professional-level analysis in Claude Code. Automated settlements are also currently being implemented.
- Automated operation of owned media:Connect Google Analytics, WordPress, and image generation to automate article generation, analysis, and improvement.
- Automation of business decision-making:Connecting all the data from HubSpot and Salesforce automatically generates reports. "It's like having a regular meeting."
"I submit my tasks to Claude Code during the day and let them pile up. When I finish work, I think, 'Yes!' and it's fun to tackle them one by one with excitement."
2. Keep producing output

"You don't learn just by inputting information. Whether it's posting on X or teaching others, it's all good."Inquiries also come to the place where the output was produced. If you keep your intellectual curiosity and outputting information, you'll find yourself a consultant before you know it."
This is a theme that was explored in depth in Chapter 9 of "AI Brain," titled "The 'User Mindset' That Makes the Difference in the End." Learning is solidified through output, and furthermore, that output itself can be reused as context.
- X post → Expand to blog → Portfolio
- Companies that have seen my portfolio are contacting me.
- thisvirtuous cycleIt starts to spin naturally
3. Metacognitive ability
A crucial perspective that Mr. Kiuchi added is metacognition.
"The ability to view oneself objectively. Mr. Chaen has metacognitive knowledge that he doesn't have much trading knowledge, so he has the AI generate dozens of patterns and verifies them before making a decision. He asks the AI to examine them from various angles to see if they are true, and then makes a decision after gaining knowledge."Whether or not one possesses this metacognition determines whether or not AI can be effectively utilized."
People who are bad at sales also lack metacognition. They think they can do it, but from a broader perspective, they still have a long way to go. They can't see the path to the goal. Metacognition is the foundation for sales, AI utilization, and all aspects of life.
And the method for improving metacognition is also simple.
"It would be a good idea to ask AI how to improve metacognition," (Kiuchi)
The message that was repeatedly conveyed in "AI Brain" --"I generally don't leave things I don't understand unresolved."The essence of an "AI brain" lies in whether or not you have developed the habit of consulting and discussing everything with AI.
4. Improvement-Oriented Approach—The Ability to Identify Problems
"Our fundamental motivation is to make the world a better place. Our company's vision is to 'eliminate inefficiencies in work with AI.' We've always noticed inefficiencies, like only being able to send pre-written messages on taxi apps, and we ask Claude about them."I want to keep improving."
Mr. Kiuchi's story was very memorable.
"My wife still hasn't reinstalled ChatGPT. She spent a whole day looking for a source that doesn't use chemical processing, but couldn't find one. I found it in 3 minutes using Claude, but she still won't install it."The deciding factor is whether or not there is a desire for improvement."
I also use Claude Code to improve things I notice are inconvenient when I look at Slack. Meeting minutes are automatically compiled without having to watch the entire meeting, and reports are submitted daily. All of these systems were born from everyday inconveniences.
There is no shortcut other than "making small moves."
This theme is also linked to Chapter 5 of "AI Brain," titled "AI Implementation Begins with 'Deconstructing Tasks'."
"Create whatever you want to create, right then and there. You might think creating an app is an exaggeration, but..."I hope they see it through to the release. Many people stop at 70%. Deployment, authentication, security—they go through all the tedious parts, persevere, and move on to the next step. Those who grow are the ones who repeat this process."
Even with Claude Code, some people say, "I don't know what to create." Where do the seeds of creativity lie?
- everydaySlack and meetingsThere is a "dislike" inside → improve it
- The moment you think, "I wish it were like this"Send it to CloudCode
- Start small → visualize results → scale up horizontally. There is no other shortcut.
The smarter AI becomes, the more important emotional intelligence (EQ) becomes.

This is the very title of Chapter 10 of "AI Brain." It was one of the most heatedly discussed sections at the event.
"AI can already handle IQ quite well. It can score 971 TP3T on the Common Test, topping 9 out of 15 subjects. I can't even write Excel anymore; Claude Code's creations are of higher quality. It can also do PowerPoint. It can do development. So what will remain in the field of sales? AI will create lists and proposal documents, everything."All that's left is persuading customers. Only emotional intelligence (EQ) will have any value."
The same applies to management work.
"The job of management isJudgment and involving othersThese are the two. Making a decision is like having a regular meeting; you can connect data from HubSpot and Salesforce and have AI generate reports. But, to move people's hearts by going out for drinks and saying, "Let's work together,"Still a human job"
Emotional intelligence (EQ) isn't just something you're born with; it can be developed and cultivated.
- Overseas"Soft skills"It is called [a certain term] and is considered to be something that can be acquired later in life.
- When you are around people with high emotional intelligence (EQ)Natural installationIt is said that GMO's Kumagai's hospitality skills are "among the best in the world."
- Learning basic business etiquette at a large corporation can also be beneficial.
- There is one thing that I value most."Always try to please others."Even during meals, they don't talk much, but they flatter the other person and subtly boast a little. They never boast themselves, but they flatter the other person.
- People with developmental disabilities may be better suited to the age of AI.ADHD and AI are a good match.
Honest and straightforward talk - My real work environment

In the special interview segment, I revealed my real work environment and my honest opinions.
Development environment
- CursorClaude Code is always running on my VS Code-based IDE, along with my iPad.6-screen configuration
- Claude Code isLeft open all dayInitially, the limit for parallel tasks was three, but now it can handle 7 to 9 tasks simultaneously.
- Complete migration from OpenClaw to Claude CodeThe complexity of managing child processes, and the fact that Openclaw prohibited its use with Claude Code subscriptions, also contributed to this.
- CLAUDE.md fileOrganize information according to project hierarchy. Systematize company (multiple companies) and personal information. "This is the most troublesome, but the most important."
- Monthly billing is100,000 to 200,000 yenIf you repeatedly remove the limit on the MAX plan, it can cost up to $600 per month.
- Mac M5 Max, memory128GB recommendedOpening just three Cursors will consume a lot of memory, so investing in a high-spec PC is essential.
Expand the human CPU as well.
"At first, I could only handle three tasks simultaneously, but now I can manage seven to nine. It's all about getting used to it."Humans must expand their capabilities to match those of AI."
The secret, surprisingly, was physical strength.
"I go to the gym and run a lot, focusing on getting oxygen to my brain. I measure my VO2 max with a smartwatch, and if it goes up, my performance improves."In the age of AI, blood oxygen levels are important."
OpenAI vs Anthropic vs Google
- OpenAI is frankly tough. That's what I think. I've hardly used it at all lately. I wonder if they can make a comeback with the super app concept.
- Question-based learning is handled by Gemini, while thinking-based learning is handled by Claude.
- For corporationsGemini or Copilot are the most common. So, nothing will change for the time being.
- A consultant should be proficient in all tools. The most reliable source of information is someone with expertise in Copilot. That's definitely true.
- What will be announced at Google I/O in May? I hope the Gemini agent will be made available in Japan as well.
The era in which "one person can create a company"
White-collar jobs are changing, as evidenced by SBI Chairman Kitao's declaration that "we will no longer hire white-collar workers."
- Hiring at good companiesIt decreases drasticallyI think so. However, there aren't enough small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas.
- Two new graduates joined our company. I was honestly surprised that one of them was a proficient user of Claude Code.
- Just recently, news broke that "the two of them built a company worth 180 billion yen."Next year, I'll be able to create a business on the scale of a publicly listed company in Japan all by myself.I think that's how it will be (Kiuchi)

Writing it was incredibly difficult. Since it was before Claude Code was released, I used Deep Research to read through all of my presentation materials and then created the manuscript. The updates were so fast that I kept thinking, "I need to include more universal content," but I crammed in everything I could.
But Mr. Kiuchi gave this assessment.
"This book was written before the Claude Code came out,The essence hasn't changed at all, even now. AI brain is equivalent to the inside of Chaen's head. The mindset required to adapt and change oneself in the age of AI remains constant, regardless of the tools used. This is an essential textbook for anyone just starting to learn about AI. It's the best souvenir I've received today."

Actions starting tomorrow

Finally, let's summarize the "actions you can start putting into practice tomorrow" that were mentioned at the end of the event.
Step 1: Master the Claude Code
- First, install the software and create an app.Until releaseTo see it through to the end
- Don't stop at 70%. We'll properly handle deployment, authentication, and security.
Step 2: Send a message
- I'll post what I made on X.
- What is sent out is in contextReusable(To be expanded into a blog/portfolio)
Step 3: Repeat
- Through intellectual curiosity and repeated output, I became an AI consultant before I knew it.
- There are plenty of projects. Will it work?only
And first of all"AI Brain"I want you to read this and install an AI brain into your mind.
"It's not too late to catch up."
Globally, ChatGPT users account for 0.31 TP3T of the population. The group developing agents accounts for 0.061 TP3T. In practice, the majority of people haven't even touched Copilot.
That's precisely why there's a huge opportunity for those who start taking action now.
What you need isn't special talent.
- intellectual curiosityContinue to hold on
- Move in small movementsSee it through
- OutputContinue
- Things I don't understandDo not leave it unattended.
That alone will make a huge difference in six months.
The smarter AI becomes, the more human and creative humans can become.
Let's take our first step today, right here.
